We ask, measure and design

At Solvu we don't look for pleasing ideas, but ones that stand up to reality. We don't start with ideology. We start with questions: where does Czech society have untapped potential and what prevents its use?

Once we identify an area that deserves change, we work with data, compare international experience and test different scenarios. We don't promise simple solutions — we formulate recommendations that hold up in expert and public debate and can serve as a basis for responsible policy decisions.

We work with people who know how decision-making really works. We bring in leading Czech experts from economics, security, diplomacy, public administration and academia, including former senior state officials and key institutional figures. Our independence and non-partisanship allows us to ask uncomfortable questions, open overlooked topics and propose solutions that are not popular in the short term but are inevitable in the long term. Our ambition is not to drive change from above, but to give decision-making a solid analytical foundation and help Czech society better understand where it can — and should — go.
